October is a busy month, in terms of awareness months! It's Selective Mutism Awareness month and so who better to invite on my very first interview than Anna Biavati-Smith who is a specialist Speech and Language Therapist and Educational Psychologist. In this week's episode, we discuss what selective mutism is and what early years practitioners can do to help children in their settings who they are yet to hear speak.
In the podcast, Anna mentions a special study day for SLTs and Education Staff on Selective Mutism that is happening in Edinburgh on 2 November 2017. FOr further info, follow this link
